Fuquay-Varina Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staffing Coordinator (Scheduler) to join our growing team!

As the Staffing Coordinator, you will work closely with nursing leadership to coordinate daily staff coverage based on census needs and ensure efficient scheduling of care team members. You will also collaborate with Human Resources to communicate hiring needs and support employee attendance tracking. This role is essential to our commitment of delivering Care Beyond Compare.

Shift Availability:

What you'll do 

  • Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs). 

  • Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care. 

  • Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients. 

  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. 

  • Explains procedures and treatments ordered to gain patients’ cooperation and allay apprehension. 

  • Observe vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gage progress of the patient. 

  • Maintains patients’ medical record on nursing observation and action taken, such as medications and treatments given, reactions, tests, intake, emission of liquids and solids, and vital signs. 

  • Records nursing needs of patient on care plan to assure continuity of care. 

  • Observes emotional stability of patients, expresses interest in their progress, and prepares them for continuing care after discharge. 

  • Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident. 

What you need 

  • Active Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.  

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

RN MDS Coordinator

Fuquay Varina Halth and Rehabilitation is seeking a part time MDS Coordinator with a license to practice as a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse for our skilled nursing facility in Fuquay Varina.

 

The typical schedule for the MDS Coordinator is weekdays with a weekend rotation of Manager on Duty.

 

The MDS Coordinator is responsible for completing minimum data set assessments and creating comprehensive plans of care after review of the patient's medical record and communication with direct care staff, the patient's physician, and family. The MDS Coordinator develops and completes the patient assessment process in accordance with the requirements of federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures.

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong clinical assessment skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
